Roots East brings a one-day festival of reggae and sunshine to Colchester Castle Park on 17th August 2025, featuring huge acts like UB40 Ft. Ali Campbell, Aswad, David Rodigan, and more!

Headlining the festival is UB40 Ft. Ali Campbell, whose legendary career has sold over 70 million records worldwide and delivered more than fifty UK chart hits. Ali Campbell keeps the reggae spirit alive and kicking, bringing that unmistakable sound to Colchester.

The festival also features an incredible lineup of support from Aswad, David Rodigan, Don Letts, Bitty McLean, Dawn Penn, and the legendary Trojan Sound System!
